It’s been a really varied month in the All That I’m Eating kitchen this month with all sorts of different things to try. Luckily I’ve been able to enjoy most of them sat outside in the sunshine!
First up I tried the new Butter and Mint flavoured crisps from Tyrrells. I wasn’t quite sure what the butter would be like on the crisps and whether the flavour would come through but they tasted lovely. Especially outside on a Saturday evening waiting for a BBQ! Minted and buttered new potatoes are always welcome as far as I’m concerned so I think these work really well as crisps.
I love the packaging on these sweets from Jealous, I thought they had a real luxury to them and I absolutely love sweets so I couldn’t wait to give these a try. I sampled the sour beans, candy worms, wild cherries and jelly bears. I really liked all the flavours; really interesting combinations and the textures were much softer than other sweets which was a nice change.
The sour beans were properly sour, just as I’d expect and I really liked the flavours. The worms had a good sourness too and I liked the three different flavours. The jelly bears were really packed with flavour, the wild cherries too. If you have a sweet connoisseur in your life I think these would make an excellent gift.
I was intrigued to try out this maple water from Drink Maple. I think it’s more enjoyable cold than at room temperature and it has a really nice subtle sweetness and flavour. According to the packaging it’s full of vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and electrolytes so it’s been really good to have these around to drink after a run for something different and all natural.
I think the packaging for these chocolates is great too. I had five flavours to try: Ginger, Chilli and Hemp, Maca, Vanilla and Cacao, Coconut and Lacuma, Mulberries, Chia Seeds and Spirulina, Gogi and Orange. All the flavours sounded so interesting and I enjoyed them all; it was nice to have bits in the bars too so the taste came from the real ingredients. I think my favourite was the Gogi and Orange. I liked that they were all dark chocolate so they weren’t too sweet; I’ll certainly be interested to see what other flavours they bring out in the future.
Thanks to Tyrrells, Drink Maple, Jealous and Doisy & Dam for the samples. All opinions expressed are my own.

You have some great goodies in your kitchen! And I agree the packaging for the Doisy & Dam chocolates is really fun. But I’ll bet the contents were much, much better! 🙂

Love your website! And this list of kitchen yummies is great! I’ve never heard of Tyrrells Crisps, but the Butter and Mint sound seriously interesting. I probably would have shied away from them (while really wanting to try them), if it wasn’t for your recommendation. Now I will definitely look for them and can’t wait to stuff my face with a few… or all of them! 🙂 Cheers, girl!

I am adding all of these to my shopping list for Scotland, but especially the Butter and Mint flavoured crisps from Tyrrells as I am intrigued by the taste 🙂

Hi Caroline, what a great line-up of goodies, I would be torn between the dark chocolate and the crisps.
